Ahoy Thar, Mateys!!! Chart yer course fer the 1st Annual Captain Cutlass Pirate Invasion! The HMS Rising Phoenix and her crew will be yer host fer a weekend filled with swashbuckling pirates an’ winsome wenches, scurvy sailors an’ bold buccaneers! The Invasion begins as pirates from around the globe descend on our little hamlet, ready ta pillage, plunder and search fer treasure! An’ treasure they’ll find at our merchants’ booths, burstin’ with booty ta take home ta yer own pirate’s cove. Our merchants will bring a wonderful selection of trinkets an’ trappin’s ta delight the dark heart of many a dastardly pirate an’ his wench! Get ready fer some great entertainment! Our shows will be filled with laughter an’ music fer all ages, starting with The Demzara Gypsies, dancin’ for yer delight; the Buccaneer Blades, bashin’ with thar broadswords an’ many more! The Warbling Wench Stage will showcase comedy acts, jugglers, magicians an’ musical acts throughout the weekend. Never fear, landlubbers, ye shall not starve! Plenty of grog ta drink and provender ta eat fer all here. Our cooks slave night and day ta bring ye fantastic food from far an’ near! Fer the higher-born, The East India Trading Company will be yer gracious host fer an Afternoon Tea, complete with crumpets an’ cucumber sandwiches. Ladies an’ gentlemen of all ages are welcome ta attend this special social event. Little pirates an’ little wenches will have plenty ta do at our Kiddie Korner, with games an’ rides fer all ages. Yer four-legged friends, on a leash, are also welcome or ye may leave them at our Doggie Daycare, fer a small fee, where they’ll be pampered by our caring staff.
